From the first chase my seat was vibrating and my popcorn almost flew. It is a high octane spy action with a messy heart and I enjoyed that dual mood like you laugh and then you gulp.
Plot is simple but plays clever where Kabir gets accused and Vikram must hunt him while bigger sharks swim behind. Some twists are filmy and I still screamed in the hall because style and dosti tension just hit me hard.
Action looks glossy and sometimes too clean but when the camera runs through old lanes of Spain I felt travel fever. One rooftop face off made me whisper arre bhai that was mad and the cable set piece had the hall doing ooo sounds.
Music is by Pritam and the background swells like a wave then drops silence and you feel that pinch. A tender scene with Ashutosh Rana made me senti and I did wipe a tiny tear do not ask.
Direction by Ayan is focused on scale and speed and the screenplay by Shridhar Raghavan keeps dropping breadcrumbs. Performances are full throttle and chemistry is playful and stubborn and I liked that constant push and pull.
When Sacnilk flashed week one at about two hundred four crore I literally squeaked like a kid. My group started counting tickets and laughing because it felt like half the city came with us.
So where do I land on verdict you ask. For me it is a hit because Sacnilk numbers are strong and that massive opening and solid two week run show people are turning up.
